Description:
This solution provides a governmental level plan to prevent radicalisation and violent extremism. It was developed and implemented after the 22 July terror attack in Norway. The action plan promotes anti-radicalisation work in each police district in the country, as well as providing courses for among others non-governmental organisations, religious organisations, and sports teams.
The action plan aims to foster health and social networks for potential persons at risk of radicalisation, to enhance informal anti-radicalisation efforts, and to improve emergency organisations and non-governmental organisations' ability to identify individuals with potential for radicalisation and violent extremism. The action plan was created in 2014 and revised in 2019.
The solution could help to address the following needs of first responders and authorities:
Communicate with or alert citizens
Improve involvement of and cooperation with citizens
